It’s been over a week since my last post and for that I apologize–Seems that the vacation mode has finally tempered away from everyone, which made me a busy bee with my day job-painting faces.
There is a new kid on the block, and it’s filling everyone’s bellies in just the right way. Dirty Lemon is the new craze that has spilled all over social media with its sleek design and celebrity attention. It is a beverage similar to a tea or a tonic and now comes in 4 different formulas, all in which are created with natural ingredients to work with the body inside-out. No added sweeteners, no fake stuff, just whole elements derived from the natural ‘fruits of the earth’.
Each type are designed specifically to the needs and wants of consumers in a friendly fashion:
- Detox: The [Detox] formula contains Activated Charcoal, Lemon Juice, Herbal Blend of Organic Dandelion Root and Organic Ginger Root, and Filtered Water. It’s formula is kind of a god sent for my late night binges or alcohol consumption (on some occasions the two go hand in hand). When I think of a “detox” usually what comes to mind is starvation and a lot of bathroom breaks. What’s nice about Dirty Lemon’s version is that it is very mild on your system. `They` suggest to drink it before bed and on a full stomach because it is meant to calm the stomach, support kidney function, and trap impurities. `I` suggest to chug it down before bed after you’ve been out drinking all night because it is meant to “calm the stomach, support kidney function, and trap impurities”–which is the best cure for any hangover.
- Energy: The [Energy] formula contains Filtered Water, Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, Proprietary Energy Blend (Green Tea, Ashwaghanda, Eleuthero), and Proprietary Essence Blend (Green Tea, Lime, Orange Blossom Honey). This blend is a great way to cut the coffee addiction and create a healthier age process for your body. It’s nutrients and caffeine come from a blend of green tea and the adaptogenic herbs which help to alleviate stress while sustaining energy function. Green Tea is known to help with aging while creating a healthy balance of energy to your system. Winner! Winner!
- Skin & Hair: Now this is where it gets weird. The [Skin & Hair] form contains Filtered Water, Cold Pressed Lemon Juice, Horsetail, Red Clover, Cayenne, and Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Peptides. You ask what Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Peptides are? Well, they are collagen amino strands from the scales of saltwater fish which have been broken down into a smaller molecular size for easier absorbtion-basically ingesting this is meant to help slow the process of aging, and stronger bones. Horsetail is a perennial plant with a long thicker stem and thin hairlike leaves. The amount of benefits are out of this world, and have been used for many many centuries to treat multiple types of conditions; a few which include hair, nails, teeth, bones, etc. It’s the real life magic potion from “Death Becomes Her” promising eternal youth, sort of..
- Sleep: The [Sleep] formula contains Filtered Water, Cold Pressed Lemon Juice, Bulgarian Rose Otto Hydrosol (Pure Rose Water), Proprietary Sleep Blend (Lemon Balm, Passionflower, Chamomile), and Magnesium Glycinate Chelate. This is my favorite one yet. With my work I am constantly on the go which makes my mind consistently on a treadmill, so when it’s time for me to try and sleep, it’s usually the most difficult part of my day. I drank a case of these everyday for a week, and my entire body felt so relaxed and my brain calmed down and let me rest. I can sleep through the entire night if I drink one of these before bed. For those of you who need melatonin or a Xanax to sleep, or even to just calm your insane membrane-get ahold of this aid.
All in all, I completely understand why Dirty Lemon is such a craze right now. Each of their beverages have come to be huge hits, and each with great, light flavor. They are packed with vitamins and nutrients, while providing taste and charm.
